JOB POSTING FOR ART INSTRUCTOR
Location: Bradford Art School
Position: Art Instructor (Evening Shift)
Contract Duration: January – June 2025
Paid Training starting at the end of November.
Shift: 2 Evenings per Week, Tuesday and Thursday (4:30PM – 9:00 PM)
Are you passionate about nurturing creativity in children and helping them express themselves through art? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Art Instructor to join our fine arts studio! As an instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to teach kids aged 4 and up, fostering their artistic development in a fun, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach art classes to children ages 5 -16, focusing on basic art techniques and creativity.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere where kids feel encouraged and confident to explore their artistic potential.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- A genuine love for working with children and a passion for teaching art.
- Previous experience teaching or working with children is preferred.
- Strong artistic skills and the ability to demonstrate art techniques in the 5 mediums ; Pen and ink, Pencil crayon, Oil Pastel, Watercolour paint, Acrylic paint.
- A portfolio of personal artwork or a selection of sample pieces to share with the team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young learners.
- Availability for evening shifts (Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 4:30 PM and 9:00 PM).
Contract Detail:
- Term contract from January to June 2025.
- Evening hours, 2 days per week
- Compensation based on experience.
